Third Meeting of the National Stakeholder Group Held within the FABCOM Project

The third meeting of the national stakeholder group within the FABCOM – Family and Community-Based Care Models project, implemented through the Interreg Europe program, was held. The Ministry of Health of Montenegro organized the meeting to exchange information on existing practices, identify key challenges and needs, and gather expert opinions and suggestions to improve the policy document, which is a key result of the project for Montenegro. Participants included representatives from the Ministry of Health, relevant institutions, and project experts. They shared experiences and opinions regarding current practices, challenges, and system needs, with particular focus on the connection between the health and social sectors and the importance of inter-institutional cooperation. Next steps discussed included local consultations and further work on the policy document. The Ministry of Health, in collaboration with relevant institutions, stakeholders, and experts, will continue project activities aimed at developing quality, applicable solutions to improve home health care and community support in Montenegro.
