Airplanes of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Army were engaged during the day in Podgorica, Cetinje, and Herceg Novi

According to data from the Operational-Communication Center 112 of the Directorate for Protection and Rescue, multiple fires are active across Montenegro tonight, though they are under control. In the municipality of Herceg Novi, a fire in the Baošići-Đenovići area, as well as fires in Ponikvice in Danilovgrad and the area of Crnog Vrha in Velje Dubo, and in Kolašin are under control. Air Tractor AT-802 aircraft of the Ministry of Interior were used to extinguish fires in Bijele Poljane in Cetinje and in Klopot in Podgorica. The MUP's Air Tractors carried out a total of 17 cycles today, dropping 51 tons of water on the fire sites, while the Antonov AN-32P aircraft completed four cycles in Klopot, releasing a total of 32 tons of water. A helicopter of the Montenegrin Army was engaged in Đenovići in Herceg Novi, conducting three flights and dropping 30 tons of water on the fire. Authorities continue to monitor the situation and respond to all active fires, and citizens are once again urged to be responsible and not to set open fires.
