Criminal Complaint Filed Against Mojkovac Resident for Illegal Occupation of State Land and Unlawful Construction
Officials of the Regional Security Center 'North', in coordination with competent state prosecutors, continue intensive activities in the fight against all forms of environmental crime, aimed at detecting, preventing, and prosecuting illegal construction and space devastation. As part of these activities, officers of the Mojkovac Security Department, upon order from the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje, filed a criminal complaint against Mojkovac resident G.S., suspected of committing crimes against illegal land occupation to the detriment of Montenegro and building a structure without proper registration and documentation. Police officers from Mojkovac Security Department took measures upon learning that in the village of Brskovo, Mojkovac municipality, on cadastral parcels KO Bjelojevići, construction works are underway on a permanent structure intended for agricultural activity, covering a total area of 1,299 m². At the request of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje, construction and geodetic expertise was conducted, which determined that the structure encroached approximately 307 m² of state-owned land. Thus, the accused, without proper legal basis and without ownership or other rights allowing the use of state land, occupied part of the mentioned state parcel during the construction of the structure. In violation of spatial planning and construction regulations, as the investor and organizer of the construction, he started and continued construction works on the structure without prior registration and documentation for building.
