Montenegro at the ESF Network Meeting in Vienna: Exchange of Experiences in Preparing for the Use of EU Funds

Officials from the Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Dialogue, Belma Redžović and Antoneta Ljucović, participated in the 15th meeting of the European Social Fund (ESF) Network for the Danube Region, held on the 1st. The two-day meeting was an opportunity to exchange experiences and best practices in the areas of labor market, social policies, and EU support programming, with a special focus on preparations for the upcoming Multiannual Financial Framework 2028–2034. Particular attention was given to managing workforce aging, green and digital skills, lifelong learning, the Youth Guarantee, and strengthening capacities for managing EU funds. The representatives of the Ministry shared Montenegro's experiences in programming and implementing pre-accession support in employment and labor market sectors, exchanging insights with colleagues from EU member states and the region. Participation in the meeting is an important opportunity for networking, knowledge sharing, and further improving Montenegro's readiness to utilize EU funds in the future.
