Helicopters of the Montenegrin Army are engaged in firefighting in the Herceg Novi municipality, providing support in efforts to suppress the fire and protect residents and property. VCG aviators are coordinating with the Interior Ministry's firefighting planes, further strengthening aerial capabilities at the fire sites. Bell 412 helicopter crews, working with local services and field teams, use mobile water basins for quick refilling. This approach allows shorter intervals between flights, more efficient use of aerial resources, and continuous operation in the most affected areas. The Montenegrin Army, within its available capacities and on-site needs, continues to support relevant services in firefighting and protecting people, objects, and infrastructure.
