Campaign "Live, Don't Rush" – Schedule of intensified controls for July 30 and 31, 2026

Activities will include engagement of traffic patrols, motorcycle patrols, Mobile Traffic Police Units ("speed traps"), as well as drone traffic surveillance, with special emphasis on sanctioning speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol and psychoactive substances, illegal overtaking, not wearing seat belts, mobile phone use while driving, and other violations endangering all traffic participants. Drone traffic monitoring will be organized on routes Podgorica–Cetinje, Podgorica–Virpazar, and Danilovgrad–Nikšić, aiming to detect and document serious traffic violations, primarily speeding, illegal overtaking, and other risky behaviors. Motorcycle patrols will be deployed in Kotor area on Lipci–Kotor route, in Budva's city center, in Kolašin on main roads Kolašin–Podgorica and Kolašin–Mojkovac, and in Pljevlja on the main road Pljevlja–Đurđevića Tara, with a focus on speed control, illegal overtaking, and motorcyclist safety. In Podgorica, traffic patrols will be active on the Podgorica–Danilovgrad route during daytime and on Podgorica–Bar route at night, with particular focus on speeding, driving under influence, and other violations threatening traffic safety. Controls will also be organized in Bijelo Polje, Berane, Kolašin, Mojkovac, Rožaje, Plav, Gusinje, Andrijevica, and Petnjica, including routes Bijelo Polje–Berane and Ribarevina–Barski Most, with police presence in Ribarevine, Zaton, Bioča, Sutivan, Rasovo, and Barski Most, as well as intensified night controls in the city area. Police officers will be present at locations Pešca, Buče, Gradinsko Polje, Rijeka Marsenića, Beranselo, Zaostro, Tifran, and Bioča, with increased night controls focused on the city center and the Berane–Bijelo Polje route, especially targeting drivers under the influence of alcohol and psychoactive substances.
