Monthly Report for September 2026

In September 2026, a total of 1,267 inspection checks were conducted, including 776 regular inspections, 133 inspections initiated by initiatives, and 358 control inspections. During these inspections, market inspectors identified 379 irregularities related to violations of regulations within their jurisdiction. To address these irregularities, inspectors issued 380 decisions, of which 232 required rectification of irregularities, four mandated rectification within a specified deadline, 95 products worth 31,457.57 euros were taken off the market, seven cases involved temporary bans on operations (sealing of facilities), and 27 decisions involved the delivery of business documentation. In September, inspectors rejected 11 consumer requests and issued two decisions rejecting initiatives due to lack of jurisdiction. The Market Inspection Directorate will continue inspections to ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to internal trade, consumer protection, intellectual property rights, provision of craft services, and other areas within its competence, to ensure consistent application and contribute to a well-regulated market environment.
