Registration for participation in the eighth Digital Summit of the Western Balkans, organized by the Ministry of Public Administration from October 12 in Herceg Novi, is open. Interested participants can register via the available registration link: https://tally.so/r/ODRkA8. The summit, to be held at the One&Only resort in Portonovi under the slogan "Building digital bridges to the future," is organized by the Ministry of Public Administration under the auspices of the Government of Montenegro, in partnership with the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), and within Montenegro's chairmanship of the Berlin Process. The summit will gather over 150 participants from the region: high government officials, Western Balkans economy representatives, European Commission and RCC representatives, business and academic leaders, civil sector representatives, and technology experts. This year's program focuses on specific challenges and opportunities in creating a safer and more competitive digital space, divided into five key thematic areas: Digital Economy – building strong partnerships with the private sector; Digital Skills and Competencies – preparing human resources for future jobs; Digital Infrastructure – the foundation for stable and fast regional connectivity; Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Connectivity – implementing advanced technologies; Trust and Security – with a special focus on strengthening cyber resilience and improving digital security in the Western Balkans. The joint goal is a connected and secure region. During two days of intensive programming, participants will present initiatives that directly contribute to economic growth and the digital integration of the Western Balkans into broader European flows through panel discussions, presentations, and networking.
