Kordić: Montenegro records strong tourist and investment growth

Minister of Tourism of Montenegro, Simonida Kordić, participated in the second International Investment Forum in Azerbaijan, which gathered around 3,000 participants from 40 countries — representatives of governments and international institutions, leading global investors, financial institutions, and business leaders. Speaking about Montenegro's investment potentials, Kordić emphasized that Montenegro is a destination that can offer international investors what is most important in modern conditions — stability, predictability, and transparency, along with the country's clear orientation towards quality and long-term sustainable investments. Montenegro is now home to leading international hotel brands such as One&Only, Aman, Regent, Hilton, Hyatt, The Chedi, Swissôtel, Mövenpick... Their presence is not only important for additional accommodation capacities but also brings international management standards, expertise, access to global markets, and, importantly, increased confidence in Montenegro as a safe and promising investment destination," Kordić said. She also highlighted Montenegro's increasingly significant role on the multilateral level, noting that the country presides over the European Commission at the World Tourism Organization, which further confirms its international visibility and active role in shaping tourism development policies. Montenegro's participation in the Azerbaijan International Investment Forum provides an additional opportunity to position the country on the map of international investors, promote specific investment potentials, and establish partnerships that can contribute to the development of quality, sustainable, and year-round tourism.
