Call for Regional Workshop on WTO Trade Safeguard Measures (STO)

The World Trade Organization (WTO), in collaboration with the Vienna Institute (JVI), is organizing a Regional Workshop on Trade Safeguard Measures titled: "Introduction to WTO Rules on Trade Safeguard Measures – Understanding and Application." The workshop will be funded by the organizers and held from March 3. The workshop is intended for mid- and senior-level government officials working on WTO-related issues, as well as officials involved or to be involved in matters related to anti-dumping measures, subsidies, countervailing measures, and safeguard measures. Up to four candidates can be nominated for participation, with the final selection made by the WTO Secretariat. A completed and signed application form (by the candidate and the relevant national institution), along with supporting documents such as an updated CV and proof of relevant training, must be submitted to the Ministry of Economic Development via email at aida.salagic@mek.gov.me no later than March 28. Applications will be officially forwarded through diplomatic channels via the WTO Permanent Mission by March 15.
