Chief of General Staff of Montenegro Miodrag Vuksanović met with Chief of the Romanian Armed Forces Georgica Vlada

The Chief of the General Staff of the Army of Montenegro, Brigadier General Miodrag Vuksanović, met today with the Chief of the General Staff of the Romanian Armed Forces, General Georgica Vlada, who is on an official visit to Montenegro. During the meeting, friendly relations between the two allied countries and their joint commitment to further strengthening bilateral military cooperation within NATO were confirmed. We particularly value the successful cooperation of special forces, with our personnel gaining valuable experience on exercises in Romania, and I believe that their joint training in Montenegro has contributed to improving the interoperability and capabilities of our elite units. General Vlada emphasized that Romania attaches great importance to cooperation with Montenegro, highlighting that the greatest value of the partnership is the exchange of knowledge and experience, and he is pleased that Romanian Armed Forces personnel and the Montenegrin Army have opportunities to learn from each other and build mutual trust. The interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the current level of cooperation and agreed that the Montenegrin Army and the Romanian Armed Forces will continue to develop their partnership through increased joint activities, exchange of experiences, and enhancement of military cooperation, in accordance with shared interests and obligations arising from NATO membership. At the end of the meeting, General Vlada extended an invitation to Brigadier General Vuksanović for an official visit to Romania, which will be an opportunity to continue successful dialogue and implement joint activities of mutual interest.
