Today in Cetinje, on the path from Cetinje Monastery towards the Ćipur Church, a public gathering was held from 18:00 to 19:15 hours, reported to the Cetinje Department of Security in accordance with the law, under the name "Cetinje Remembers," organized by the NGO "Center for Civil Rights." During the event, the organizer displayed video content on a video screen, which included, among other things, an internationally wanted person, Nenad Kaluđerović. Despite public notices that the Police would record the gathering in accordance with the Law on Internal Affairs and warnings that drone flights over the event were not permitted, except for police drones, two drones operated by private individuals flew over and recorded the event. The police informed the state prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Cetinje about the controversial content shown on the video screen, which included the internationally wanted person, who stated that there were no elements of a criminal offense in the event that would warrant prosecution ex officio. Regarding the illegal use of two drones, officers from the Cetinje Department of Security grounded and identified the drone users, and the Civil Aviation Agency will be notified to take measures within their jurisdiction. The police call on all citizens and organizations organizing public gatherings to respect laws and prescribed procedures when reporting and conducting such events.
