She also recalled the strong support provided by French President Emmanuel Macron to Montenegro, emphasizing that this support was confirmed during his visit to Montenegro in June, when important agreements were signed that further deepen bilateral relations and open space for new forms of cooperation. One of the most significant examples of cooperation is the construction project of a new University Clinical Center in Podgorica, worth over 300 million euros, representing one of the largest investments in Montenegro's healthcare infrastructure and an important example of intensified collaboration with French partners. The discussion also covered possibilities for additional financing of projects in energy, transportation, and other infrastructure, green transition, and environmental protection, with a special focus on modernizing the electricity grid and strengthening energy security. France is among the countries with which Montenegro records increasingly intense tourist ties, and this year nearly 100,000 French tourists visited Montenegro, further confirming growing interest in Montenegro and potential for further strengthening economic and social links. Ambassador Humbert-Bouvier assessed that the European path of Montenegro presents an additional opportunity to deepen economic relations and attract new investments, while Minister Vuković emphasized that the government will continue working to create conditions for a stronger presence of French companies and financial institutions in Montenegro. Franco-Montenegrin partnership thus gains an increasingly strong economic and developmental dimension, alongside political support at the highest level and a shared interest that Montenegro's European path is accompanied by concrete investments, stronger economic connections, and projects that directly benefit citizens.
