Open 9th ELI User Call for access to top-tier laser research infrastructure
Extreme Light Infrastructure, one of Europe's leading research infrastructures in laser science, has opened the 9th ELI User Call, offering researchers worldwide the opportunity to submit proposals for experiments using the most advanced instruments and capacities of the ELI infrastructure. The significance of this call for Montenegro lies in the fact that Montenegro gained Observer status in ELI ERIC this year, opening additional opportunities for Montenegrin researchers to utilize this European research infrastructure. The call is primarily intended for researchers and research teams with specific experimental projects in fields such as laser and optical physics, plasma physics, ultrafast science, interaction of intense laser light with matter, and other areas of modern experimental physics compatible with available ELI instruments and capacities. Proposals will undergo feasibility assessment and an international expert review process, and selected researchers will have the opportunity to use appropriate ELI capacities to carry out their approved experiments. For users from member states and Observer states, including Montenegro, ELI ERIC provides financial support for travel and accommodation for selected users, in accordance with the conditions published on the ELI User Portal.
