Public Call for Acquisition of the Title of Independent Police Inspector
Based on Article 144 paragraphs 1 and 2 in connection with Article 143 of the Law on Internal Affairs (“Official Gazette of Montenegro”, numbers 70/21, 123/21, 3/23, 84/24, and 40/26), Articles 3 and 4 of the Regulation on the Implementation of the Promotion Procedure to Higher Police Titles (“Official Gazette of Montenegro”, number 021/23), and the Decision on Publishing a Public Call for Police Officers Who Meet the Conditions for Acquiring a Directly Higher Police Title, number 100/26-22550 from 27.05.2026, the Minister of Internal Affairs announces a Public Call for acquiring the title of Independent Police Inspector. Conditions for acquiring the police title include: - VII1 level of educational qualification, - at least four years of work experience in positions with VI and VII1 level of educational qualification in police titles, - passing a professional exam for work in state authorities. Required documentation includes: - application for the public call (free form), - Curriculum Vitae (CV), - diploma or certificate of VI and VII1 level of educational qualification, - proof (certificate/confirmation) that the police officer (Police Inspector I class) has spent at least one year in the corresponding police title and has at least four years of work experience in positions with VI.
