Ministry Partner in the Dialogue4Nature Project to Strengthen Nature Conservation and Mediterranean Resilience

The Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development, and Northern Development is a partner in the Dialogue4Nature project – The Institutional Dialogue Project of the Interreg Euro-MED Natural Heritage Mission, implemented within the Interreg Euro-MED 2021–2027 program. The project brings together partners and 32 associated organizations across the Mediterranean, aiming to improve dialogue, coordination, and cooperation in the fields of nature protection, biodiversity, and climate resilience. A special focus of the project is on enhancing management and coordination among Mediterranean stakeholders to better align and integrate conservation policies into sectoral policies, including spatial planning, coastal and marine management, climate policies, and sustainable development. The Ministry’s participation represents an important contribution to strengthening Montenegro’s institutional capacities in nature protection and climate policies, as well as an opportunity for knowledge exchange with relevant institutions, regions, international organizations, city networks, civil society, the scientific community, and protected area managers across the Mediterranean. The project will promote participatory and integrated policy-making approaches, develop joint recommendations, transfer good practices, and strengthen links between science, public policies, and natural resource management. Through Dialogue4Nature, in collaboration with other projects of the Interreg Euro-MED Natural Heritage Mission, greater visibility and application of thematic project results will be achieved, along with the establishment of a stronger Mediterranean network for nature resilience.
