Danilovgrad police found marijuana during search of UK citizen

Officers of the Danilovgrad Security Department conducted activities in the city aimed at combating all forms of crime, with a special focus on drug abuse and street distribution. As part of these planned activities and by court order, the Danilovgrad police searched a house used by UK citizen A.T.G. During the search, marijuana, 50 leaves of a plant with characteristics and smell similar to Cannabis sativa, and a gas mask were found. The suspect, upon noticing the police officers, entered the house running and attempted to destroy and discard the drugs he was holding, but was prevented by timely police reaction. After criminal processing, the higher public prosecutor's office in Podgorica was informed, which ordered expert examinations of the seized items at the Forensic Center. The legal qualification of the act will be determined after the results. The Regional Security Center 'Center' continues intensified activities aimed at suppressing drug abuse and distribution of all types of narcotics, as well as identifying individuals whose illegal activities endanger public health.
