Kotor: Suspect arrested for causing serious bodily injury to a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Officers of the Kotor Security Department, in coordination with the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Kotor, solved a serious bodily injury case and, on the orders of the state prosecutor, arrested S. from Kotor on suspicion of committing the offense against U., a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina. At around 3 a.m. in a nightclub in Kotor’s Old Town, following a brief verbal altercation, S. allegedly struck U. in the head. The victim sustained a serious injury—a skull-base fracture—as confirmed by medical records. As part of operational and other investigative measures to clarify the incident and establish the identities of those connected to it, police officers interviewed several people and carried out activities that led to the suspect’s identification. S. was arrested, and a special report was filed against him as a supplement to the criminal complaint on suspicion of committing the offense of causing serious bodily injury.
