PU: Monthly collection of 1.2 billion euros, an increase of almost 98 million euros

In the past year, the collection of gross tax revenues amounted to 1.2 billion euros, representing an increase of nearly 98 million euros, or almost 9 percent, compared to the same period last year. Corporate profit tax collection was 228.5 million euros, which is 9.3 million euros or 4 percent more than the same period in 2024. Contributions increased by 28 million euros, or 10.5 percent compared to the previous year, with the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund contributing the most to this growth, with collections of 249.7 million euros, an increase of 24.1 million euros or 10.7 percent. Positive trends were also observed in concession revenues, which amounted to 69.3 million euros, an increase of 12 million euros or 21 percent compared to the same period in 2024. During the summer tourist season, significant budget revenues were achieved through intensified activities aimed at increasing voluntary compliance in reporting and paying tax obligations, strengthening proactive communication and service-oriented approaches towards taxpayers, as well as through increased inspection oversight. In the upcoming period, the Tax Administration will continue implementing planned reforms, modernizing processes, and further improving the efficiency of public revenue collection, with a clear goal of raising taxpayers' awareness of the importance of timely settlement of legal obligations.
