Police Officers Nataša Jeftić and Selma Ličina, World Champions at the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Abu Dhabi – Gold Medals for the Pride of the Police and Montenegro

Two members of the Montenegro Police Department, Nataša Jeftić and Selma Ličina, won first places yesterday at the 2026 World Jiu-Jitsu Championship. Nataša Jeftić, a police officer from the Kotor Security Department, became the world champion in the senior category up to 63 kilograms. She achieved her gold medal through dominant victories over opponents from Turkey and Russia, and in the final, convincingly defeated a Russian representative with the maximum number of points. Selma Ličina, a police officer from the Cetinje Security Department, secured first place in the Adults Fighting category up to 70 kilograms, becoming the world champion. Our colleagues not only won world titles but also confirmed the values that characterize the police profession – courage, discipline, perseverance, skill, persistence, and responsibility. Their success achieved excellent sports results and, in the best way, promoted the reputation of the Police Department and dignified the service and the country on an international level.
