Budget Execution Report of Montenegro - July 2026

Strong collection of budget revenues continued in July, further confirming positive fiscal trends and stability of the most significant revenue sources. These include personal income tax, corporate profit tax, VAT, excise duties, and contributions, which together generated over 100 million. This achievement indicates ongoing strong economic activity, favorable labor market trends, and growth of the tax base, as well as resilience of budget revenues despite measures implemented during the year to protect citizens' and businesses' standards. The report provides a detailed overview of the realization of key budget revenue categories, with a focus on their dynamics compared to the previous year and the plan for the observed period. € or 38.1% above the plan mainly in the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management for Agriculture Support under the MIDAS 2 program. € or 36.3% mainly for the needs of the Health Insurance Fund for rights to medicines, medical supplies, materials, and medical-technical aids.
