Report: Special Monitoring of Fruit Flies from the Tephritidae Family

In the year: special monitoring of fruit flies from the Tephritidae family, from the period starting in 25th year, Jackson traps with methyl eugenol attractant were examined for monitoring quarantine species from the Bactrocera genus (dorsalis complex and zonata) in the Podgorica area in retail centers (city markets) and in a wholesale trading distribution center, and the attractant was replaced. Additionally, as part of the implementation of the program, yellow sticky traps with a specific attractant for the apple fruit fly Rhagoletis pomonella were examined and replaced during this inspection. The yellow sticky traps with a specific attractant for the Mexican fruit fly Anastrepha ludens were also examined and replaced. This inspection of traps with specific attractants did not detect the presence or capture of adult individuals of the targeted quarantine fruit fly species.
