In Podgorica located and arrested Swede on international wanted list NCB Interpol Stockholm
Officers of NCB Interpol Podgorica – FAST team for targeted searches, in cooperation with the FAST unit of NCB Interpol Stockholm, precisely located the apartment where the internationally wanted person N.F.A.L. was hiding through intensive exchange of operational and intelligence data. The international wanted notice for this person was issued by NCB Interpol Stockholm to ensure his presence in criminal proceedings against him before the competent court in Sweden, due to suspicion of committing serious drug trafficking crimes under Swedish Criminal Law. It is suspected that he procured large quantities of narcotics and, using dark web orders, mediated in the trade of large amounts of marijuana and cocaine, as well as about 15,000 tablets classified as narcotics. During his arrest, falsified documents were found on him, which are suspected to be used to conceal his identity. Police officers will, within the legally prescribed period, present this person to a prosecutor for investigation at the Higher Court in Podgorica, for a decision on extradition detention. Further communication and cooperation between the competent judicial authorities of Montenegro and the Kingdom of Sweden regarding the extradition process will follow.
