Representatives of the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova trained in the field of personal data protection
On September 30, 2026, the National Center for Personal Data Protection (CNPDCP) organized a training session for representatives of the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova (CCRM), aimed at strengthening knowledge in the field of personal data protection. The session aimed to familiarize Court employees with the new legal provisions in data protection and to raise awareness about the importance of complying with legal requirements in their professional activities. Key topics covered included principles of personal data processing; rights of data subjects and ways to exercise them; ensuring data security and confidentiality; data protection impact assessment; relevant aspects for data protection officers, etc. Additionally, practical challenges encountered in daily data processing activities were discussed, with relevant examples and recommendations for implementing necessary compliance measures in light of the new legal provisions. The event was held at the Court of Accounts headquarters with the participation of 42 staff members. Such training activities contribute to strengthening the institutional culture regarding personal data protection and promote the correct application of legal provisions in the activities of public and private authorities.
