Call for Entries Announced for the “Global Stories – Competition for the Best Story”

The Council of Europe’s North-South Centre has announced a call for entries to the “Global Stories – Competition for the Best Story.” Participants are invited to submit a story addressing a topic related to global education, human rights or sustainable development, such as freedom of expression, refugee rights, democratic participation, women’s rights, environmental justice or digital rights. Alongside the broad range of topics that may be explored, two principles are essential: critical thinking should be the central thread woven into the story, as this year’s Global Education Week places particular emphasis on the theme. Although everyone is eligible to participate, schools may decide whether to submit all entries or a selection of the best works resulting from school-level competitions. Entries should be sent to global.education@coe.int, together with an application submitted via the form “Call for Stories – Applications / Appel à Récits – Candidatures.” The deadline for submitting entries is the 22nd. This initiative is organised in the context of Global Education Week, an initiative implemented by the Council of Europe’s North-South Centre and the Global Education Network במסגרת the iLEGEND III project, a joint project of the European Union and the Council of Europe, co-financed by the European Union and the Council of Europe.
