Montenegro and Czech Republic dedicated to improving economic cooperation

Finance Minister Mr. Novica Vuković met today with the Czech Republic ambassador to Montenegro, Janina Hrebičková, to discuss current economic topics, enhancing bilateral cooperation, and opportunities to intensify Czech support for Montenegro's European integration process. The meeting assessed that there is significant room and mutual interest for further strengthening cooperation in areas important for economic development, public finances, investments, and experience exchange in aligning with European standards. The Minister emphasized the importance of partnership with the Czech Republic, especially considering its experience in the European integration and reform processes that contribute to stronger institutions, sustainable economic growth, and a more favorable business environment. 'Montenegro values the continuous support of the Czech Republic and its experience, which is invaluable in our European integration process. Our goal is to create conditions for sustainable economic development through responsible public policies, stable public finances, and stronger institutional capacities. In this context, we aim to further improve economic cooperation and open space for new investments and joint projects,' said the Minister.
