Supporting the Education of Roma and Egyptians through Cooperation between Institutions and Civil Society
Dr Anđela Jakšić-Stojanović and Svetlana Drobnjak, Director of the Directorate for Preschool and Primary Education, met with representatives of the Association for the Support of Roma and Egyptians, Dr Nikola Raičević, MSc Imelda Ličina and Adrijan Imeri. The meeting was organized to discuss the education and integration of children from the Roma and Egyptian communities into Montenegro’s education system, with particular emphasis on the achievements of this non-governmental organization in Berane in cooperation with educational institutions there. The Association expressed its gratitude for all the contributions made by the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation to the social inclusion of Roma and Egyptians.
