Public Call for Proposals for NGO Representatives in the Working Group for Drafting the Law on Construction Products
Based on Article 3 of the Regulation on the Election of NGO Representatives in the Bodies of the Public Administration and Public Consultation in Law and Strategy Preparation (Official Gazette CG, Nos. 41/18 and 86/26), the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism announces a public call for proposals for NGO representatives in the working group for drafting the law on construction products. The drafting of the law aims to align national legislation with Regulation (EU) 2024/3110 of the European Parliament and the Council, which establishes harmonized rules for placing construction products on the market and repeals Regulation (EU). The new law will establish a legal framework for the application of new requirements related to the environmental performance of construction products, lifecycle impact assessment, and digitalization of data on construction products. Criteria for NGO representatives in the working group include experience in spatial planning and construction; not being a member of a political party, a civil servant, or an appointee. Proposals must be submitted on a prescribed form within 10 days of this public call, either directly to the Ministry's clerk or by mail to the address: Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and State Property, Directorate for Construction, IV Proletarska Brigada. The Minister of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and State Property will select a member of the working body from among the NGO representatives who meet the prescribed conditions and for whom the highest number of proposals from NGOs fulfilling the conditions have been received. In case of a tie, the Minister will make the final selection.
