New guidance: Advice for citizens needing extra security in the event of personal data leaks
The Danish Agency for Societal Security has therefore prepared guidance for citizens who may be particularly vulnerable or exposed and may need extra security. When unauthorized individuals gain access to personal data, the information may be misused for fraud, threats or harassment, among other things. For some citizens, it may therefore be necessary to take special precautions to protect themselves and their families. If you are concerned about your safety as a result of leaked personal data, you can contact the police on 1-1-4. Be critical of unexpected messages, even when the sender claims to be a company or authority you know. At Sikkerdigital.dk, you can find more advice on how to protect yourself against digital fraud.
