Press Release from the First Session of the Jury for the Thirteenth July Award

The first session of the Jury for the Thirteenth July Award was held yesterday in Cetinje at the premises of the Ministry of Culture and Media of Montenegro, comprising: Dr. Trifun Savić, Jury President. The session unanimously adopted the Rules of Procedure for the Jury and a Notice inviting the public to submit proposals for the 2026 Thirteenth July Award, which will be awarded to a maximum of three recipients as annual awards, with only one award in each field. The award is given to a citizen or resident of Montenegro, a group or legal entity based in Montenegro, for results of exceptional importance to Montenegro achieved in 2025, in areas such as cultural and artistic creation, sports, natural and social sciences, economy, ecology, or for works or achievements in all fields of work and creativity that contribute to the development and affirmation of Montenegro.
