Confirmed friendship between two countries: Partnership for a more stable and prosperous Balkans

The Minister of Public Administration, Mr. Marash Dukaj, met with the President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj. During a warm and substantive conversation, the interlocutors discussed excellent bilateral relations between Montenegro and Albania — two friendly neighboring countries connected by mutual respect, closeness, and a shared European perspective. The importance of the Albanian people in Montenegro was particularly emphasized, as they represent an important link between the two countries and contribute significantly to multi-ethnic harmony, stability, and overall social development. It was highlighted that the Albanian factor also plays a significant role in strengthening regional cooperation, good neighborly relations, and European integration processes in the Western Balkans. The interlocutors discussed a common European future, as well as the importance of continuing strong cooperation and mutual support on the path to full EU membership. Minister Dukaj expressed gratitude to President Begaj for the warm reception, continuous support, and open dialogue, with confidence that the two countries, relying on friendship and shared values, will continue to further strengthen relations and jointly contribute to a stable, prosperous, and European future for the region.
