Police ensured stable public order and peace during the first day of EXIT; festival attended by about 15,000 people – no disturbances of public order and peace

The first day of the festival, attended by around 15,000 people, passed without any disturbances of public order and peace, in an entertaining – musical and regular atmosphere. The safety of participants and the local population is one of the most important segments of organizing this event, led by the Regional Security Center 'Jug' – Ulcinj Security Department, with support from other organizational units – other security departments, the Special Police Unit, and the Border Police Sector. On the first day of EXIT festival, police presence included planned security of the festival area, access roads, parking areas, and other locations with a large number of visitors. Based on the security plan, police officers were deployed at multiple functional points focused on preventive actions related to maintaining public order and peace, traffic control and regulation, and operational work of criminal police. The planned and effectively implemented preventive police activities, in cooperation with other authorities, contributed to the smooth flow of traffic, avoiding traffic jams and formation of queues, despite high road usage, especially on the regional road Ulcinj – Ada Bojana. Police officers will continue with planned activities throughout the festival to ensure that this renowned music event proceeds in a normal atmosphere and that visitors feel comfortable and welcome in our country.
