Police acted on Dajković's report filed due to a comment on a social network; person identified, found, and a statement taken from him
Police officers from the Regional Center for Security - Podgorica Security Department acted on a report by politician Vladislav Dajković, identified and, in cooperation with the Cetinje Security Department, found the person he reported due to a comment on a social network, which he felt was threatening. In the report, he stated that a person with a certain username on the social network posted the comment, and he requested police action regarding the content. Officers from the Podgorica Security Department processed the report and collected additional information, while officers from the Cetinje Security Department, based on the person's residence, found the reported individual, Ž.D., in the premises of the Cetinje Security Department. Information was collected in a record regarding the citizen's report related to the event. The competent public prosecutor in the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Cetinje was informed about everything and ordered that the files be submitted to the relevant prosecutor for review and decision, who will determine whether there are elements of a criminal offense in the reported event that are prosecuted ex officio.
