In the Podgorica area, traffic patrols will be deployed on routes Podgorica–Danilovgrad and Podgorica–Bar, with increased traffic checks focusing on speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol and psychoactive substances, and other violations endangering road safety. Patrols will operate in Sutorina, Igalu, Meljinama, Dubravi, Baošićima, Kumboru, Bijeloj, Zelenici, and Kamenarima, conducting radar checks, speed control, traffic regulation during congestion, and testing drivers for alcohol and substances. In Bar, police will intensify controls on main roads toward Petrovac, Virpazar, and Ulcinj, especially on high-traffic segments, emphasizing speed, overtaking, intoxication, and other violations threatening safety. Controls will also be organized in Bijelo Polje, Berane, Kolašin, Mojkovac, Rožaje, Plav, Gusinje, Andrijevica, and Petnjica, with police presence on routes Bijelo Polje–Berane and Ribarevina–Barski Most, including Ribarevina, Zaton, Bioča, Sutivan, Unevina, Barski Most, and bypass. The locations represent primary patrol points, with officers reallocating based on traffic conditions and situational assessments to ensure preventive measures and effective sanctions for violations. We urge all drivers to obey traffic laws, adjust speed to road conditions, avoid driving under influence, use seat belts, and act responsibly to maintain safety for all road users.
