Regarding the statement of Deputy Nikola Zirojević in the media about a letter received on Monday, July 20, 2026, via mail at the premises of the European Union Members Club, which Deputy Zirojević considers threatening to him, we inform you of the following: Officers of the Podgorica Security Department, after seeing Deputy Nikola Zirojević's statement in the media about the letter, called Deputy Zirojević to come to police premises to give a statement for the record regarding the incident. Deputy Zirojević today around 15:30, responded to the call and confirmed in his statement, taken from a citizen, that the letter addressed to the European Union arrived at the premises of the Members Club of this political alliance on the specified date, Monday, July 20, 2026. He explained why he believes the content of the letter concerns him, stating that he feels threatened because of its content. The police informed the State Prosecutor's Office in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica about everything. Further police measures and actions will follow, in coordination and upon the order of the competent State Prosecutor, and you will be timely informed of the results.
