Elementary School 'Vuk Karadžić' received modern and safe sports fields
The program is implemented by the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Sports and Youth, and the Center for Sports and Youth Promotion (CAMS), with the aim of providing students with safer, more functional, and higher quality conditions for physical education, sports activities, and daily recreation. Our goal is for every child in Montenegro to have equal opportunities to develop their potential through sports, and this project is just one of the important steps toward realizing that vision," said Jakšić-Stojanović. Investing in sports infrastructure is one of the key objectives of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, as we believe that school sports are fundamental for proper child development, creating healthy habits, and fostering a love for sports. Mayor Mujović emphasized his satisfaction during the inspection of the sports infrastructure renovation within the elementary schools 'Vuk Karadžić,' 'Maksim Gorki,' and 'Radojica Perović,' highlighting that such projects are tangible results of cooperation between the City and the Ministry of Education, Science, and Innovation. "The implementation of the 'Let the Ball Hear' project for the elementary school 'Vuk Karadžić' is particularly significant because the school sports field is a central place for physical education classes, as well as numerous extracurricular, sports, and recreational activities. The sports field is also a gathering place, a venue for socializing, and organizing school events, which is why its renovation will significantly contribute to creating better and safer conditions for work, play, and student development, as well as promoting sports and healthy lifestyles among children," said Lazarević.
