Statement
In response to public and media interest regarding the construction on Sveti Nikola Island, the Police Department informs the public that police officers from the Budva Security Department visited the site on July 3rd and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, a criminal technician documented the situation with photographs and prepared a photo report. It was established that a structure—a bar with a terrace—was built within a bathing area, although no construction work was ongoing at the time of the inspection. The incident was reported to the public prosecutor in the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Kotor, who ordered the relevant construction inspection of the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism, and State Property to take measures within its authority. After receiving the inspection's findings and statements, the complete case files will be forwarded to the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Kotor, which will review all established facts and documentation to determine the legal qualification of the event and the further course of proceedings.
