In Podgorica, a person suspected of armed robbery at Old Airport was arrested

Officers of the Podgorica Department of Security, Criminal Police Station for Combating Property Crime, detained a person from Podgorica suspected of armed robbery upon the order of the public prosecutor at the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica. Due to suspicion of committing the criminal offense, E. was detained in the afternoon when he approached a kiosk in the Old Airport part of the city, demanding money from the employee, who is his wife. When she refused to hand over the requested money, he approached the cash register at the moment she was unlocking it to give change to a customer and attempted to steal money from the register. He tried to push the victim aside to take the money, but she managed to lock the register. He was brought before the public prosecutor within the legally prescribed period for further proceedings.
