Another 25 Directors Successfully Completed Leadership Training Program for Educational Institutions
The program covers six key areas: legislation and administration; planning, programming, organizing, and monitoring the work of the institution; teaching and learning; ensuring the quality of work of the institution; human resource management; as well as the cooperation of directors with parents, management bodies, the local community, and the wider community. Special contributions to the implementation of the training were made by mentors: Zorica Minić, Jadranka Gavranović, Dijana Laković, Ana Ćalov Prelević, Katarina Todorović, Dijana Vučković, Dragica Žugić, Svetlana Drobnjak, Aleksandra Vešović Ivanović, Zoran Lalović, and Veljko Botica, who provided professional support to participants during the development of final works, offered suggestions, and guided them through the preparation process for final presentations. Since its inception, the training program has successfully completed a total of 231 directors of educational institutions, continuously contributing to strengthening the professional capacities of those who play a key role in improving the quality of education. The professional development of directors is of particular importance for the quality of the educational system, considering their role in creating conditions for quality educational and upbringing work, developing employees, monitoring and improving the work of the institution, as well as building a supportive and safe environment for students. New topics include inclusive education, financial management, mobbing, student well-being, staff well-being, violence prevention, and digitalization of the education process through the mandatory use and exchange of data via the Education Information System (MEIS). The recently renamed module 'Modern School – Community Partnerships, Challenges of a Safe School Environment, and Digital Space' emphasizes the importance of community partnerships, creating a safe school environment, and using the digital space (MEIS) for transparent and efficient management.
