Kordić: Guests from the region are always of special importance for Montenegro

During the meeting, discussions were held on improving cooperation in tourism, joint promotional activities, and opportunities for developing regional tourist products. Kordić emphasized that guests from the region are always of special importance for Montenegro, which is why the Ministry strongly advocates for regional cooperation and a joint approach to distant markets. The Bridging Destinations concept, involving Southeast European countries, has already had two forums, with Bosnia and Herzegovina also invited, representing a continuation of the initiative to unite Balkan countries. Montenegro has expanded its market presence, and this concept has been presented through UN Tourism platforms, confirming its significance and potential, said Kordić. The meeting highlighted the great potential for creating joint tourist products that combine Montenegro's natural beauty, mountain, seaside, or wellness tourism with adventure, rural, and spa tourism from Republika Srpska, aiming to attract both domestic and foreign tourists from distant markets. Puhovac expressed readiness for any cooperation that would contribute to improving the tourist offer and strengthening ties between Republika Srpska and Montenegro, assessing that there is significant room for joint projects and promotional activities.
