Herzegovina police solved theft committed in goldsmith's shop in one day; two Macedonian suspects located and detained – gold jewelry found and returned to the owner
Officers of the Herceg Novi Department of Security, within one day of the crime being committed, clarified the theft committed against a goldsmith's shop in Igalo. Police officers identified, located, and detained Ž.C.T (55) and A.R (33) from Skopje, North Macedonia. Around 13:30, they entered the goldsmith's shop in Igalo, pretending to be interested in buying gold jewelry. They allegedly asked an employee to show them certain pieces, and after the jewelry was displayed, took advantage of her inattention to secretly grab four gold chains from the counter and left the scene. Police immediately responded to the report, took operational measures, and quickly identified the suspects, who were found in an apartment they rented in Herceg Novi. They were brought to police stations for criminal processing, and in coordination with the public prosecutor, were detained.
