Strengthening Cooperation in Activating Work-Eligible Users of Material Security

Amendments to the Law on Social and Child Protection stipulate that users of material security do not lose their rights during participation in active employment policy programs, including programs involving employment relationships, lasting up to 12 months, in accordance with the law. This further strengthens support for activating users and integrating them into the labor market, while maintaining material security during the program duration. Activities of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Family Care, and Demography envisaged by the Reform Agenda have been implemented, and the Employment Agency's measures are focused on employment of users in progress. At the meeting, the need for further strengthening inter-institutional cooperation, improving the development of individual activation plans, and more efficient implementation of support measures for work-eligible users of material security in the process of market integration was emphasized. The goal is to provide users with better support on their path to activation and employment through coordinated institutional actions.
