Police in Pljevlja solve robbery – Bosnian citizen suspected of masked assault tying 77-year-old woman and stealing money

Officials of the Regional Security Center "Zapad" – Pljevlja Security Department, after several months of operational-tactical, criminalistic, and forensic activities, have clarified the criminal offense of robbery committed in August 2025 in the area of the municipality of Pljevlja, in the region of the village Bobovo, against a 77-year-old woman, and have detained a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The officers of the Pljevlja Security Department, in cooperation with officers from the Border Police Station I Pljevlja at the Metaljka border crossing, detained A.Š., a Bosnian citizen, early in the morning in the village Bobovo. Two masked individuals entered the victim's family house, used force against her, demanded money, tied her up, and stole a total of 4,060 euros from the house. Police officers, in coordination with the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje, immediately took intensive measures and actions after the report of the event to clarify it. Alongside forensic investigations, the officers of the Pljevlja Security Department have been conducting operational-tactical and criminalistic measures over the past months aimed at identifying the perpetrators, checking their movements, and collecting other relevant data and evidence to clarify this criminal act.
