28th Session of the Commission for Monitoring the Implementation of the Education Digitalization Strategy
At the 28th session of the Commission for Monitoring the Implementation of the Education System Digitalization Strategy 2022–2027, the school mobile application of Niko Rolović Grammar School was presented. It was developed by the school’s student, Dmitrij Ivaščenko. The application brings together, in one place, information and content relevant to students’ daily school life, including class schedules and changes, announcements, tests and homework, lessons, quizzes, clubs, and other school activities. The possibilities of using artificial intelligence to support learning and teachers’ work were also presented, including the preparation of structured lessons, quizzes, and other content, as well as monitoring areas in which students need additional support. The application is largely complete and functional, and Commission members had the opportunity to learn about how it works and its potential use in the school environment through a practical demonstration. Since PISA data are linked to MEIS, new reports will be generated after the results of this cycle are imported, enabling comparisons between students’ achievements during primary education and their performance in PISA testing. Members were invited to review the planned activities once again, initiate those that have not yet begun, and gradually start preparing data for the annual Report on the Implementation of the Action Plan.
