In 2026, the Water Management Directorate announced the need for an assistant director position in the Water Management and Inspection Sector. The competency, knowledge, and ability assessment for candidates meeting the public competition requirements for the senior official position is conducted in accordance with the competition conditions and the Regulation on criteria and procedures for testing knowledge, skills, and competencies for work in state bodies (Official Gazette of Montenegro). Each correct answer on the test is awarded one point, with a maximum of 15 points per competency. Candidates who score at least eight points in each competency on the general test must submit a written work to the Commission, including: prioritization and proposals for improving work processes or the status in the relevant field. The written work is evaluated based on specific competencies such as analysis ability, prioritization, innovation, initiative, clarity, and structure.
