Representatives of the Electronic Governance Agency Strengthened Their Knowledge on Personal Data Protection
On July 29, 2026, the National Center for Personal Data Protection (CNPDCP) organized a training session for representatives of the Electronic Governance Agency, aimed at strengthening professional capacities regarding the application of legislation in the field of personal data protection. The training covered main obligations of data operators, principles to be respected during data processing, and the responsibilities of public institutions in guaranteeing the rights of data subjects. These include integrating data protection measures from the design stage of platforms, limiting access to authorized personnel, and applying configurations that ensure the highest level of data protection by default. Participants also analyzed practical examples and situations from their professional activity, addressing key risks associated with improper data processing and measures to prevent and mitigate them. Through activities like this, CNPDCP continues to promote the development of public authorities' professional skills and to support the uniform application of data protection legislation, contributing to a responsible, compliant, and best practice-based institutional framework. Approximately 70 representatives of the Electronic Governance Agency participated in the event.
