Podgorica: Two persons arrested suspected of drug sale; marijuana and money found

Officials of the Podgorica Department of Security, continuing activities to combat street drug sales, conducted searches of premises linked to two individuals suspected of long-term involvement in acquiring and distributing illegal drugs in Podgorica. They found marijuana intended for street sale, over 1,700 euros in cash, and seized about 70 packages of marijuana and drug packaging items. Additionally, 1,702.50 euros in various denominations and coins were confiscated, believed to be proceeds from drug sales. A quantity of loose plant material—marijuana—was also found and seized, along with a precision scale, plastic bags, and other items. One individual tested positive for psychoactive substances, including cocaine and marijuana, and was detained on suspicion of illegal production, possession, and distribution of narcotics, following a court order.
