Nikšić: Identified suspect who caused serious bodily injury to citizen; criminal report filed
Police officers from the Nikšić Security Department have clarified the physical attack carried out in February of this year against a person and have filed a criminal report with the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić against a person of operational interest, L.P. Specifically, while taking measures and actions to clarify all circumstances of the event from 24th of the month, when around 22:40 hours the duty service of the Nikšić Security Department was informed by citizens that a fight had occurred at the Freedom Square involving multiple persons, during which a person from Nikšić was seriously injured with a metal rod, police officers identified L.P. as the attacker. After collecting evidence, in coordination with the Forensic Center in Danilovgrad, police officers from the Nikšić Security Department informed the prosecuting attorney in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić of the established facts. A criminal report has been filed on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of serious bodily injury. The suspect is currently at large, and police officers are intensively taking measures and actions to locate him.
