Kordić with the Vietnamese ambassador

The Minister of Tourism of Montenegro, Simonida Kordić, met with the Vietnamese ambassador to Montenegro, Le Vin Tang, as well as with representatives of a Vietnamese corporation interested in investment opportunities on the Montenegrin coast. During the meeting, discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in tourism and investments, with a special emphasis on developing sustainable tourism projects. The interlocutors agreed that there is significant potential to deepen cooperation in tourism, especially in wellness and health tourism segments, which are experiencing continuous growth in the global market and represent development opportunities for both countries. She highlighted that numerous world-renowned hotel brands are already present in Montenegro, further confirming the destination's credibility and attractiveness for new investors. She also reminded that Montenegro, according to the European Commission's Travel Report, ranked first among the best-rated European destinations in April, presides over the European Union of the World Tourism Organization, and is recognized as a reliable partner in the region and among European tourist destinations through the 'Bridging Destinations' project. The representatives of the Vietnamese corporation expressed interest in investment opportunities on the Montenegrin coast, emphasizing their recognition of Montenegro's potential for implementing quality tourism projects.
