CERV Training Brings Together Organizations and Institutions from Across Montenegro

The Ministry of Human and Minority Rights, acting as the National Contact Point for the European Union’s Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) programme, conducted a series of training sessions in Podgorica, Bijelo Polje and Budva as part of the “CERV Action Plan-ME” project, with financial support from the European Union. The aim of the training was to provide organizations and institutions with practical knowledge and information about the opportunities offered by the CERV programme, while further strengthening their capacity to develop project ideas and prepare high-quality project proposals. Particular attention was paid to developing project ideas, defining problems and objectives, intervention logic, planning activities and expected results, indicators, partnerships and partner roles, budgeting, risk management and the programme’s horizontal principles. A special part of the training focused on the CERV-DAPHNE call, through which participants had the opportunity to develop specific elements of project proposals through practical group work, exchange experiences and receive feedback to further improve their project ideas. Through direct work with participants, the Ministry is helping organizations and institutions become better informed about available funding opportunities, current calls and participation requirements, while also encouraging the development of new project partnerships and higher-quality project initiatives. The Ministry of Human and Minority Rights will continue promoting the CERV programme and providing support to potential applicants, with the aim of making the opportunities offered by this European Union programme available to as many organizations and institutions in Montenegro as possible.
